When adopting DevOps, you will need to make difficult, hard-to-reverse changes. Change of development processes, introduction of new tools, changes to database development, testing and deployment processes, and training your staff on things that may not seem beneficial at first. You don't want to do this twice. You need people who have done this before, listen well, and communicate the right information to your team at the right time.
